X-Factor Money Making Scheme?

Hey Guys, I'm talking about how the X-Factor and all the other talent searching shows are mainly money making machine?
I have found this very good article on how the X-Factor is such a money making scheme. I encourage you all to read it. Thanks to The Telegraph for the article.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/x-factor/8097727/The-X-Factor-a-money-making-machine.html
Ok! magazine also discusses the possibility that the X-Factor is rigged, purely so people vote in to keep their favourite act in the competion but unfortuinatly for them the decision who will be eliminated has already been decided. Please read and coment on what you think?

In November 2010 Dermot O' Leary (host of the X-Factor) let slip that the show was rigged. He said that the decision to save one of the contestants had been made before the judges voted. Here is the article curtiousy of The Sun.

It seems that the Talent searching shows are based on people voting in for their favourite contestant but not realizing that their vote doesn't mean a great deal in the bigger scheme of things. Are we being manipulated? Is this a huge scham? Are we involved in a money making scheme that is so disguised that we don't even know that the money we are throwing away for the enjoyment of others making a fool of themselves?
So is it rigged or not? Please comment on your opinions.
Don't worry I will get the video from lsat weekends results show.

X-Factor.. What has been going on!?

Well, Apologies for not posting in the most dramatic weeks of the X-Factor.

I think that it is safe to say that we have seen it all! From new name changes to people dropping out and new people coming back and the scandal of Frankie's antics outside the show causing him to give up his place, letting the lovely Amelia Lilly come in. Not to mention the sad farewells to Jonny, The Risk and Kitty. For many the surprising exit to these three acts was shock but many were pleased to see all of Louis Walsh's acts go.

In short, the girl band now goes by the name of Little Mix as their previous name was already found to have been in use. A band member from The Risk left as he felt that band life just wasn't for him and so the boys called up their friend from Nu Vibe and he joined, everything was Jake.... until the next result!

A double elimination saw The Risk and Jonny leave. After everyone had recovered from the shock the mid-week news that bad boy Frankie was kicked out due to 'taking drugs' shook the media. A joint decision from the panel of judges saw Amelia Lilly voted back on the show, although many thought that she shouldn’t have left.

We saw performances from One Direction and Lady Gaga last night (videos will be up soon) In my humble opinion I think that both performance’s weren't at as high level as we all thought. One Direction fitted back on the stage like they were still in the competition, not showing the new confidence and experience that they should have after a year of touring. Lady Gaga sang well, but I must say that I was quite distracted by the headless woman strapped to her back... misleading for some? What do you think?
I would like to thank google for thier images and videos aswell as youtube.

X-Factor UK, Live Show 3 - Result

Well this weekend featureed ups and downs, hiccups and great performences.
In the girls catorgory there was a lot of action with Misha B being called a bully and Janet Devlin sticking up for herself against a few reporters.
Unfortunatly we said a farewell to the much liked Sammi Brookes, many would say unfortunatly she wasn't liked enough.
Moving onto X-Factor gossip, it is rumoured that Simon Cowell is raging due to the number of viewings in the UK's X-Factor, Sammi was putting her early exit down to Louis not giving her the right songs.
Tension is running high.
Next week Cher Lloyde returns alongside Nicole Scherzinger. Looks like next week will be filled with fun, outragous costums and extraordinary hiccups.
